There are currently two of us in the core team. Me \u2013 Ond\u0159ej Janou\u0161ek \u2013 as the author and Martin Studen\u00fd as everything else \ud83d\ude42 Without Marty, this whole project probably wouldn\u2019t have happened and I would have continued to make Wayunki on my knee in my workshop near the forest. If I am the heart and brain of the project, Martin is the arms and legs\u2026 but the fact is that we are juggling to some extent.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The main theme in my life is sound and music. I have always been close to music, and as soon as I acquired certain skills in my teenage years, I began to construct various experimental instruments and use them while playing. I have always been fascinated by technical fields that try to understand and use the laws of the universe, such as physics, chemistry and electrical engineering. The knowledge from these fields, together with the desire for a perfect and free-sounding musical instrument and the ability to create with my hands and materialize ideas, led me to the manufacture of musical instruments.<\/p>\n

Although I have always gravitated towards wood as a material for creation, metal attracted me precisely because of its unique musical and sound possibilities. For many years I have been producing Sundrums under the name SundiBaad. When developing Sundrums, I used almost all my knowledge from various fields and distilled it into a sonorous musical instrument that brings joy and healing to many satisfied customers. And so another Wayunki metal musical instrument saw the light of day through me.<\/p>\n

Creating unique musical instruments is my passion in life and my adventure. I then observe with joy and fascination what all these tools bring to the world and what they can be used for, which I had no idea about. These beings being born through me have their purpose and their story, which far exceeds me\u2026 And so I try to give them free passage\u2026<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I have always been an inquisitive and explorative soul. My journey through life motivated by being in my heart and truth has always led me exactly where I was meant to go. To learn, to explore, to write poems, to compose songs, to meet people of all kinds of character, story and mission. Once life beckoned me to live in the South, it was no accident when the band was looking for a drummer, one of I\u2019m in. That\u2019s how I met Ondra. Musician, inventor and mystic. After a year of making music together, it became clear that my technical experience in metalworking fit into the picture of collaboration.<\/p>

Our shared interest in music and often coinciding outlook on life convinced us that the path we were about to embark on was one worth trying. My enthusiasm for the cause was overwhelming, and I got to work right away. The knowledge, attitude and approach to work and life is signalling itself in everything we do. This decision to fully devote my energies to making instruments with Sundibaad helped me to stop and end my almost 4 year long journey for \u201csomething\u201d. I think of it as a real spiritual journey, because starting a business is a big challenge in which you face all kinds of challenges. To co-create a piece of music that caresses the spirit is an honor. I believe it will serve everyone as it should.
